MAIN SECTION
483M.010

1. Main Parameters and Characteristics
1.1. The main line unit 483M.010 shall comply with the requirements of DSTU GOST 33724.1:2017, TU U 30.2-14310052-032:2012, and the complete set of design documentation (DD).
1.2. When supplied for export, the product shall comply with the requirements of the contract, international, regional, and national standards of the destination country, as well as the applicable legislation of Ukraine.
1.3. Overall dimensions, connection dimensions, and weight shall comply with the drawings and technical documentation.
2. Functional Performance Indicators
2.1. Reliability Indicators
-
Design service life — at least 20 years.
-
Mean time to failure — not less than 120,000 braking cycles.
-
Specified failure-free operation — 12,000 braking cycles.
-
Service life of seals and gaskets — at least 6 years.
Failure criteria include:
– failure of main parts or assemblies;
– loss of tightness of the main line unit.
2.2. Limit State Criteria
– wear of working surfaces exceeding allowable values per DD;
– presence of cracks, chips, or other defects on the body;
– loss of tightness under operating pressure.
3. Design Requirements
The main line unit consists of a body, valve assemblies, springs, sealing elements, and other parts according to the specification.
The product remains operational at temperatures from –60 °C to +60 °C, with short-term operation allowed at +80 °C.
Tightness is ensured at an operating pressure of 0.6 MPa (6.12 kgf/cm²).
Operation of the valves and movement of elements must be smooth, without shocks or jamming.
4. Coating Requirements
Unmachined surfaces must have a protective paint-and-lacquer coating in accordance with DD.
Springs and other components must have an anticorrosive coating.
Surface preparation for painting shall comply with DSTU ISO 12944-4.
5. Material Requirements
-
The body and main units are manufactured from gray cast iron grades SCh150–SCh300 (DSTU 8833 or DSTU EN 1561).
-
Springs — from steel wire according to DSTU ISO 8458-2.
-
Seals and gaskets — made of oil-resistant rubber compounds per DD.
-
Other metallic components — from quality carbon structural steel (DSTU 7807, DSTU 7809).
All materials must be confirmed by certificates of conformity.
6. Completeness
-
Main line unit 483M.010 assembled;
-
Product batch passport (DSTU GOST 2.601);
-
Operating manual.
7. Requirements for Manufacturability
The design must ensure manufacturability during production and repair.
The product must be interchangeable with analogous units from other manufacturers.
8. Marking
The body must bear the following markings: manufacturer’s trademark, item code, model name, serial number, date of manufacture, and QC stamp.
Marking is applied by stamping or casting and must remain legible throughout the entire service life.
9. Packaging Requirements
Packaging must protect the product from moisture, dust, sunlight, and mechanical damage.
Uncoated surfaces must be preserved with protective grease according to DD.
The product may be transported on pallets or in wooden crates.
Each batch must be accompanied by a passport and a set of documents sealed in protective plastic packaging.
