STOP-CRANE
- a device designed for emergency braking (stopping) of a train. The stop valve is installed in the vestibule and inside each passenger car and motor car of electric and diesel trains, as well as on the transition platforms of individual freight cars. When the handle of one stop valve is turned, air is released from the brake line, as a result of which the brakes of the entire train are automatically activated.
