3.6.3 Valves 4313T and 4314T retain operability after short-term (4 hours) exposure to a temperature of 120 °C.
3.6.4 The valves are tight at the maximum working pressure of compressed air. Leakage of air through the shut-off member, as well as through the body material, the union and their joints, is not permitted.
3.6.5 The shut-off member of valves 4313T and 4314T is tight at the minimum working pressure of compressed air.
3.6.6 Parts of the valves operating under pressure remain tight and strong when tested at a pressure 1.5 times higher than the maximum working pressure.
3.6.7 The connecting pipe thread complies with the requirements of GOST 6357, accuracy class B.
3.6.8 Metric threads comply with the requirements of GOST 24705 with tolerance grades 8g and 7H according to GOST 16093.
3.6.9 The thread surfaces shall not have tears, dents, or chipping of the threads, if such defects go in depth beyond the limits of the pitch diameter and have a total length exceeding half the thread length over the full threaded length.
3.6.10 The roughness of machined surfaces complies with the DD requirements.
3.6.11 Before assembly, all valve parts shall be cleaned; their surfaces shall be free from preservation compounds, wiping materials, moisture and contamination.
3.6.12 On the surfaces of the valve parts after machining, and on unmachined surfaces of forgings and stampings, no cracks, hairlines, or chips are allowed.
3.6.13 The force applied at the end of the handle when switching valves 4313T and 4314BT under pressure (0.6±0.02) MPa [(6.0±0.2) kgf/cm²] is within 10 to 20 kg.
3.7 Coating requirements
3.7.1 Unmachined external surfaces of the body, union, locknut and handle made of ferrous metals shall have a protective paint-and-lacquer coating complying with class VII according to GOST 9.032. The color and type of coating shall comply with the DD.
By agreement with the customer, delivery of the valves in primed condition is allowed.
Operating conditions of the coating shall comply with GOST 9.104.
3.7.2 Friction and machined surfaces are lubricated with the oil specified in the DD.
3.7.3 Surface preparation for coating is performed according to GOST 9.402 and GOST 9.301.
4 Requirements for materials and purchased items
4.1 Materials used in the manufacture of the valves comply with current regulatory documents and these TS.
The quality of materials is confirmed by certificates of conformity (quality certificates) issued by material manufacturers.
In the absence of accompanying documents, the quality of materials is confirmed by analysis (testing) performed by the plant laboratory.
4.2 The body and union are made of gray cast iron of a grade not lower than SCh18 according to GOST 1412. Manufacture of the union from high-strength cast iron VCh 400-15 according to DSTU 3925 (GOST 7293) is permitted.
By agreement with the customer, manufacture of the body and union from other materials whose mechanical properties are not inferior to those specified is allowed.
