1. Main Parameters and Characteristics
1.1
The chamber 295M.001 shall comply with the requirements of DSTU GOST 33724.1:2017, the applicable Technical Specifications (TU U), and the set of design documentation (DD).
1.2
In case of export deliveries, the chamber shall comply with the contract requirements, international and national standards of the destination country, as well as the laws of Ukraine regarding product export.
1.3
Overall and connecting dimensions shall comply with the drawings and the product specification.
2. Functional Performance Indicators
2.1 Reliability Indicators

Designed service life — not less than 20 years.

Mean time between failures — not less than 120,000 braking cycles.

Guaranteed failure-free operation — 12,000 braking cycles.

Service life of seals, gaskets, and packings — not less than 6 years.
Failure criteria:
– failure of components or assemblies;
– loss of tightness.
2.2 Limit State Criteria
– wear of the housing working surfaces exceeding allowable DD limits;
– cracks or chips on the housing affecting working surfaces;
– damage to flanges or mounting holes.
3. Design Requirements
The chamber consists of a housing, a cover, a piston, a spring, and sealing elements.
Operational capability is maintained at temperatures from –60 °C to +60 °C, and short-term operation at +80 °C is permitted.
The chamber must remain tight at a working pressure of 0.6 MPa (6.12 kgf/cm²).
The piston motion must be smooth and free of jerks.
4. Coating Requirements
Unmachined surfaces shall have a protective paint-and-lacquer coating compliant with the DD and applicable standards.
Springs and other elements shall have an anti-corrosion coating.
Surface preparation for painting shall be carried out according to DSTU ISO 12944-4.
5. Material Requirements
The housing shall be manufactured from gray cast iron grades SCh150–SCh300 (DSTU 8833 or DSTU EN 1561).
Springs shall be manufactured from steel wire according to DSTU ISO 8458-2.
Sealing elements shall be produced from oil-resistant rubber compound according to the DD.
All materials shall be accompanied by manufacturers’ quality certificates.
6. Completeness
– Chamber 295M.001 assembly;
– Passport for the batch of products (DSTU GOST 2.601);
– Operating manual.
7. Technological Requirements
The design shall ensure manufacturing convenience, inspectability, and maintainability.
The chamber shall be interchangeable with similar products from other manufacturers.
8. Marking
The housing shall bear the following markings: manufacturer’s trademark, designation number, model name, diameter, serial number, manufacturing date, and QCD (quality control department) stamp.
Marking shall be applied by stamping or casting.
9. Packaging Requirements
Packaging shall protect the product from moisture, dust, sunlight, and mechanical damage.
Unmachined surfaces shall be preserved with lubricant according to the DD.
Transportation is allowed on pallets or in wooden crates.
Each batch shall be accompanied by a passport and a set of documents placed in hermetically sealed polyethylene packaging.
